So, this weekend on our visit, we saw that the scaffolding was up and ready for hubby for Monday morning to brick up the second story. Roofing is also booked in for Tuesday after the Easter Long Weekend. Kinda in love with the new place already even though it is no where near finished. This is so exciting and I just cant wait until it is complete!

Week 8.2: More Bricks!
Bricking continues as hubby does his best to get as much done as quickly as possible.
Starting to finally look like a house!
Cant wait to move in - I'm already picturing where my current existing furniture would go.

Week 8.1: Bricking Begins!
So this afternoon was a great afternoon despite it being so gloomy throughout the day.
Hubby was on site today to brick up!
He sent me some snaps this afternoon that I was so happy to see!
Once the brickwork is done and the roof is on, it will definitely start to look more like a house!

Week 6: Framing!
Woohoo! what a great start to the week. Hubby was in the area and decided to drop by the block to see if there has been any progress on the block since last week.
So happy to see these photos come through from him today! Frames for downstairs are up and to our surprise, they will be using steel beams so there will be no creaks upstairs!
I've already started picturing what furniture I would put in which rooms!
