Monday this week was our handover.
I am so exhausted with this process and just completely written off. We have started to take a few things to the house this week and doing a few external bits and pieces like concrete pathway and fencing before we move in so our little furry child can come with us once we move completely.
Appliances go in tomorrow and someone from sentinel alarms should be there to install our ducted vacuum. I think it will start to feel much more surreal once we are sleeping there but never the less, feels amazing to know its all over and that we can start enjoying our home.
Anyone else who is building, good luck with the rest of your build or the start of your build wherever in the process you may be.
I will be uploading photos, sometime after we have all of our furniture in and after we start our landscaping.
Our pool should be starting hopefully by mid to late October.

I feel like there's really not much to be done and yet WH wants to have handover in 4 weeks. Just seems like a heck of a long time. Not looking good. We probably won't be able to be in the house by my birthday and even after handover, we will still have SO much to do!
This list below reflects our plans post handover:
1. Concrete around the house to create a path all the way around.
2. Need to get plans made for the pool we want to build ASAP.
3. Once these plans are through, dig and fill with concrete.
4. Pave the area around the pool.
5. Fencing
6. Small veggie patch
7. Flower garden at the front near the three windows.
8. Pebble the front instead of grass.
9. Vertical flower garden near the alfresco area
10. Build a shed for tools etc.
I feel like this list is really never going to end. Seems futile to resist the challenges we are going to face at this point. Not to mention how much money it's going to cost. Mood: Bleh
